ArcGIS Online API Credenttials

If I set up API Credentials from ArcGIS Online with the location services enabled (Developer Documentation | Documentation | Esri Developer), there is a credit cost for use of some of these services (e.g. routing).

Does anyone know if the credit spend from API is limited by the credit allowance of the account that set it up? Or if it will just burn through the whole organisation's credits unchecked? Asked my ESRI contact directly and they didn't know the answer.

Hey @KatieStenson22 hope all is well! I've provided some information for you below. 

When setting up API credentials from ArcGIS Online with location services enabled, the credit usage is tied to the organization as a whole, not just the individual account that created the API key. The API usage can potentially consume all of the organization's available credits.

• All services and content accessed with API key credentials are tracked. You can monitor the usage of credentials in order to view the consumption of services and the billing amount here.
