Analytics consent save choice

I’ve enabled Google Analytics and added a consent message to a StoryMap. This brings up the required 'consent' message when loading the StoryMap, however there is no option for the user to save their choice. This means that the interface to Allow the tracking is displayed every time the StoryMap is loaded. This is quite intrusive, especially compared to Hub (where I'm accessing the StoryMap from) which has options to manage tracking through the Privacy Manager.

Is there any way to save the users choice when consenting/rejecting to tracking in StoryMaps?
