Manage Geodatabase Functionality Not Saving

Hi! I am publishing layers for collaboration from ArcGIS Pro to Portal using a SQL Server .sde connection. I understand that each feature class needs Archiving, Global IDs, Editor Tracking and Replica Tracking enabled to allow sync. I can enable these options under the Manage geodatabase functionality pop-up for Feature Class Properties, but why do the options revert to being disabled after a few minutes?

I have attached a screenshot of the properties I am referring to. I understand Replica Tracking is currently greyed out, it becomes available after enabling Archiving.

Any assistance is appreciated!

Are you connected as the data owner for that feature class?

It looks like the data is owned by DBO. That user would need to enable that functionality.
