Layer unselectable

I was working in my parcel fabric yesterday and did a cut and paste special to a layer. Now I can not select any of my parcels on my topology map. My parcel lines in this layer and in one of my other layer have also disappeared. I can click on any of he other layers in the fabric and can select parcel and the parcel lines are visible. But in the topology layer it is like I have one big parcel that is not selectable. Can you help me with this problem?

I would start by adding the parcel fabric to a new map and making sure that the selection works in the new map.
If selection works in the new map, we'll know it is map related.

You also note that some layers have disappeared. Is it possible that the focus was on the Contents pane when you were 'cutting' and 'pasting' and that instead of copying the features you were actually copy and pasting layers?

I presume you've already checked that the layer is selectable in the Content pane.
