ArcMap Terraflex Trimble Add In

Good afternoon everyone,

We are currently testing the Terraflex AddIn with ArcMap without an MXD. We load all the layers dynamically in ArcMAp so the map does not need to be saved. We are getting the following error message: "A Project Can Not Be created Without an mxd".

Is there a way to synchronize the data via a script, instead of using ArcMap?
