Olá, Estamos considerando a possibilidade de migrar do antigo sistema de gerenciamento de rede de fibra baseado em CAD para a solução ArcGIS Communications Data Management<\/A> e a utilização do complemento de gerenciamento de rede de fibra no ArcGIS Pro. Entendi que para gerenciar a rede de fibra é sempre recomendado usar um complemento de terceiros no Pro, ou como uma aplicação via navegador. Entendi corretamente? Estou agora reunindo informações e experiências sobre as soluções mais leves e econômicas para gerenciamento de rede de fibra. Qual complemento de rede de fibra você recomenda para ArcGIS Pro e para a solução Communications Data Management baseada no Online? A rede de fibra funciona localmente e não é muito grande. Conexões da rede de fibra, gerenciamento dos armários de fibra e outros fluxos de trabalho devem estar incluídos na solução, por isso precisamos de um complemento para fluxo de trabalho de gerenciamento da rede de fibra, seja no ArcGIS Pro ou baseado em navegador. Great question! This is something a lot of folks working with fiber networks in ArcGIS Enterprise are curious about.

You might find this StoryMap helpful: Telecom Network Management. It gives a nice, visual overview of how ArcGIS Utility Network can be used to model and manage telecom networks. It walks through real-world examples and concepts like connectivity, tracing, and asset management in a spatial context.

It’s a good way to get familiar with what’s possible, especially if you're exploring options or just starting to build out your fiber management workflows.

Hi @JuhaHaanpera, there are two ArcGIS solutions for telecom network management. Communications Data Management and Communications Utility Network Foundation. Communications Data Management leverages hosted feature layers and is used for basic asset mapping and high-level design planning. It does not leverage the utility network. Communications Utility Network Foundation leverages the utility network and supports fiber strand documentation and network tracing. This solution does not provide a splicing tool so the only way to create connectivity associations is by using the out of the box associations panel in ArcGIS Pro or the API, which is not ideal for managing many strands and splices, which is why many users leverage partner solutions.
