Changing resulting dot size when using search function

I would like the ability to adjust the size of the dot generated when conducting a search within a Web Mapping Application. The current dot, as depicted in the attached image, may pose visibility challenges for some users. Our goal is to have a more easily readable and visible dot symbol.
