Dynamic symbols not showing in jewelry box experience builder

Question

I am trying to configure an arcgis online experience builder with a Jewelry Box template. I have selected symbols for the photo for each feature, and my symbols are pie charts. I want these to show for the photo of each, but it only shows gray dots. Looks like the option for the pie chart symbol to be live isn't available in this experience builder. Is there still a way to get this to work, or am I correct that this is unavailable? See screenshots.

Yes, you are correct - this is currently unavailable if you work with the OOTB widgets.

The complexity is that the chart symbol configured in MV is dynamic (based on data) and rendered based on HTML, yet the image widget in ExB cannot use those format.
