Why do definition queries against WFS layers not work?

Definition queries against WFS layers don't work for me (ArcGIS Pro Version 2.4.2). Is there a configuration I'm missing or is this a bug?

Hi Dean,

Can you provide an example of a definition query that doesn't work? Are you using the default connection mode (snapshot) or on demand mode?
