ARCGis pro suddenly started eating RAM and freezing

Hi there

My ArcGis Pro 3.1 suddenly started freezing ,  taking ages to load maps , and chewing up 97% of my 32GB  installed RAM.

I had some DXF files loaded up but  I have converted poly llines to shapes and they have been removed. I thhoug drawing the DXF files was taking up resources.

No change. ArcGis taking at least 5 to 10 mins to load maps then is constantly freeziing doing simple tasks like changing a color.  I have to can the app in the task  list.

I have a high spec laptop a HP Powerbook G7 with a core i9 and a Quardo card.

Hi mate

Its the map itself. I just had too many layers and dxf files loaded up. RAM was free but the HDD was writing like crazy. I had to start a new map.

Hi - did you get a resolution to this problem.  I have the same - it started today.  Ages to get off the splash screen.  Then even creating a blank project, adding  map used up 64Gb of RAM!
