Streaming points in metric

Question

I would like to be able to set the Streaming distance to a metric value. I have made all the settings required - organisation is set to metric, Australian, English language. As you can see here, the Accuracy unit is set in metric (change made today after changing organisation settings). However, streaming remains stuck in the dark ages 😞

Can someone please tell me what step I have missed?

Map setting usually start with the base map, is it in meters? To do special map in UTM zone coordinates, I had to build my own base maps in the appropriate UTM zone. So it's possible your base map is forcing the setting to something other than meters.

Maybe change also general - units to meter, works for me.
