Calcite and mobile devices

Question

Hello,

Does the current suite of calcite components scale well on mobile devices like phones? I found an older community post where there is a quote from Esri about calcite-shell being designed for tablet and larger screens.  Is that still relevant for the new Calcite releases? If so, does Esri have plans to make Calcite responsive and fit nicely in phone-sized screens.

We are using Calcite for a responsive app and it works nicely for this. In
our situation, most of the necessary work was unrelated to Calcite but the
components worked well for us in both a desktop and mobile phone layout.

Calcite has an initiative in 2023 for responsive layout across components, where progress can be tracked with #6670.

Additionally, there are three components which will need a refactor once the initiative is complete including Checkbox, Shell, and Stepper - with implementation time TBD.
