Getting lat and long out of ArcGIS for AutoCAD

Question

I'm working with ArcGIS for AutoCAD for the first time and everything is going smoothly, with on exception. I can locate a point with lat and long, but I can't seem to figure out how to select a point and then get its lat/long. I feel like I have tried everything...

Hey, thanks for the update!

ArcGIS for AutoCAD is going to display the x,y locations based on current location and spatial reference (coordinate system). It also sounds like you might be georeferencing a drawing as well, but it is somewhat difficult to determine from our posts.

I think the best thing we can do is have you open an Esri Technical Support case with the ArcGIS Pro Team to work and double check this CAD data. If all is correct then they can transfer the case to the ArcGIS for AutoCAD support team after if needed.

Here is an image of my properties pallet. I get what you mean by changing to Lat/Lon, but That is only with the geolocation feature of AutoCAD. The map that I was given I sized made with ArcGIS for AutoCAD, so I can't use this method. I tried copying and pasting the all my layers into a new dwg that had geolocation enabled (With the geometry in Lat/Lon), but the scaling was off, but more importantly, the angle was off, so even if I got one point right, all the others points would be off-kilter by the slightest little bit on the other side of my map (It is less than a degree difference). I tried asking the AutoCAD forum to help me with this issue, but advised that I reach out here with help through the ArcGIS addon. So, given more details, is there any way to know the Lat/Lon of a point through ArcGIS for AutoCAD? (And I know that I can do the inverse with the locate feature, but that isn't what I'm trying to do.

Apologies, but I am not following. Would it be possible to get screen captures and or workflow details as to what we are trying to work with and do please?

The only other thing I can offer at the moment is you might need to use a Coordinate System that is in Lat/Lon.
