Appending data on the fly

Hi all,

This seems like a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it possible to return vector data from multiple sources in one layer? (not a group layer)

I'm thinking similarly to the featuresets you can make in Dashboards, or like a raster mosaic but for vector data.

For example, it'd be great to combine several different roads files without making a whole new one that has to be updated every time one of the source files changes.

Hi,

you can add many roads features on the same feature class and categorize the layer based on the difference of roads 

is it suitable in your case ?
