Adding assignments with Survey 123 - Migrating from Workforce classic

Hi all,

I'm looking to migrate from Workforce classic, no problems with that process so far but the one sticking point I seem to be having is enabling the collection of new assignments in the field using Survey123. I previously set this up in a manner similar to the one described here: Create assignments in the field with Survey123 (esri.com)

Using that method now I am unable to expose the "assignment type" field to the Survey123 form in connect. So my questions are: I am missing something in preparing my view of the assignment table? Or; should I be trying to achieve this with a different method now?

Would you be able to share the documentation? I am trying to set up an integration between S123 and Workforce where we take in public requests(say pothole fixes) and they generate assignments in Workforce.
