Accessing Databases Other Than $datastore

Using Pro v2.6.4

Are there any plans for an attribute rule being able to access databases outside of the $datastore?

I've asked that same question in the past, and I believe it's "in the works".  See this post for more information though on using database views as a surrogate to having all your data in the same datastore.
