i need to know how to create an editable layer on arcgis pro?

Question

i am new to the software and very excited, however, esri does not support helping newcomers very well?? apparently I have the wrong subscription for training past how to install and start the software??

Hi Paul,

I recommend this lesson: Get started with ArcGIS Pro | Learn ArcGIS

It sounds like you want to create an empty layer that you will manually add data to. If that's the case, I recommend using map notes. It's the easiest way to make a new layer: Map notes—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
