Add functionality that tells you how far a particular point moved between versions, instead of just telling you that it moved beyond the tolerance you specified.

It would also be nice if the tool compared based on a unique identifyier field instead of just the order in which it appears in the table.

At this time we do not have a plan to offer this enhancement to Feature Compare. You can run Near as a post process to determine the distance between points. The order of comparison for Feature Compare can be set using the parameter Sort Field.
