Web app to change styles

Web apps are great ways to simplify mapping functions for users. Currently though if you want to push out a web app map with a layer of data the viewers have to accept the layer styles you have chosen. However it would be really useful for them at times to be given the control to be able to change the look and style of a layer - such as the colours, the classification intervals, or use proportional circles or colour  shaded polygons for shape file data - however do to this they would have to use ArcGIS online at the moment. It would be great to have a web app which allowed users to just change the style of the layer and a widget in the web app builder which also allowed this functionality.
