Support for Point Cloud i3s/slpk and measure 3d

Question

Hi,

I just tested Earth (1.7) with Point Cloud Scene Layer, service from Portal Server and local file: it wont work.

Is there a plan to support i3s sevices / slpk files for PointClouds an 3d meshes?

The mesurement tools do only work  2d, draped to Terrain.

Will there be 3d-Measurment tools implemented e.g. to measure height of 3d objects or points?

Point cloud will be supported for V1.10 release in this year (2019).

I just installed ArcGIS Earth 1.8 and it doesn't appear that point cloud scene layers are supported?

Hi Dirk,

The support for point cloud scene layer is planned for future releases in 2018 Q4 or 2019 Q1. The 3D measure capability (Measure the direct, vertical, and horizontal Euclidean distances between two points) is coming along with the 1.8 release very soon.
