Don't Add Co-ordinates

I have a survey but I don'twant to record the co-ordintes. is this possible or will it have some bearing on the feature class?

Survey123 always collects lat/long in the background when a survey is opened. You do not have to add a geopoint question to the survey if you don't want to.

So the lat/long is collected and stored in the feature class regardless of whether they are manually collected or not?
