When I try adding a map to excel, it never inializes

When I attempt to "Add Map" in Excel, the map never finishes initializing.

My ARCGIS for office was working until earlier this week and now it won't ever give me a map, I checked the settings and the migration addin won't become active, it keeps giving me an error that it can't find the file to download. I don't know if this is the problem, but if it isn't can someone please tell me how to fix this? It looks just like the above picture.
