I cannot use the rich text field for customizing the appearance of my widgets. The custom text box does not allow me to enter any text

Question

When I try to customize the appearance of text in the widget display in ArcGIS Dashboard, nothing appears in the box (similar to this one).  I cannot get anything to appear there, so I cannot format it.  It will only enter plain text in the widgets.  Is there something I am supposed to do?  using the + button adds the field, but it does not show up in the formatting area, only in the widget.

The problem might be with your machine dual video (graphics) card. Check out this Problem: Unable to load custom extensions after installing and launching Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS Knowledge Base article. It helped me.
