Remove Orphaned Geodatabase Locks

Question

How does one go about removing an orphaned lock on a feature class?  I've reviewed the geodatabase administration information which suggested the following.

Right-click on the schema, select Geodatabase Administration > Disconnect User.  However, it causes this error.

Any suggestions out there?

That makes sense.  I'll check with my DBA administrators to see if I have an account with those privileges.  If I don't, I'll have one created.

Which user are you connected with while trying to disconnect? It seems from the screenshot that the user doesn't have permission to disconnect.

To disconnect users from a geodatabase in Oracle, the geodatabase administrator must either be added to the DBA role or granted ALTER SYSTEM and SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE privileges
