update name of field once survey has been published

Hello,

I have a published survey with over a 100 records already collected, however the data is not displaying correctly in the data tab online. I am now concerned that a reason for this could be that the survey was published with field names that contain reserved words (from & to).

Is there a way to go back in to the survey and amend these fields in the schema without losing the data already collected? If I amended them in connect they simply get added as a new field, leaving the old field still in the survey, so the problem still occurs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Martyn,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to directly rename a field.  You could try adding a new field, copy the data from the field you wish to rename, and then delete the field to be renamed (and then update the form).
