ArcCatalog 10.6.1 crash on XML Export, Exporting the Schema for the SDE, trying to restrict the export to only few tables but app crashes. Geodatabase is at 10.2.1a.
I would recommend upgrading the Enterprise Geodatabase to the latest version of the Utility patch then retesting; Esri Support ArcMap 10.2 (10.2.1, 10.2.2)
The other option would be to contact Esri tech support and work with the geodata team on this issue. I know that exporting XML's can be tricky sometimes.
