<\/HEAD>Het is weer die tijd van het jaar waarin Jack iedereen vraagt om afbeeldingen in te sturen voor zijn plenaire sessie op UC. En hoewel u uw afbeeldingen kunt indienen tot 31 mei<\/STRONG><\/A>, was ik benieuwd of iemand ooit zijn werk heeft laten zien tijdens Jacks presentatie. <\/P> <\/P>Is uw werk ooit getoond in de plenaire sessie? Waar ging uw kaart over?<\/STRONG><\/P><\/BODY><\/HTML>

Yes I am.   Last summer we had a series of devastating fires up here in Lake County, CA.   The worst one - the Valley Fire - wiped out nearly 2000 homes in the first few hours.

I submitted 3 samples related to the fire:  a swipe story map, a Portal map showing destroyed structure sites, and a page from a data-driven-pages map book that was used by recovery crews right after the fire.

Two years ago Jack included one of my maps used for an ongoing project monitoring cyanobacteria levels in our local lake.
