GIS is a fascinating field but also somewhat confusing. For those of us who are just starting out, which one is more recommended: ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro?

Start with Pro, it is the way forward and there is no point in having to migrate to it at a later date, especially since the interfaces are somewhat different
