ArcGIS Server 10.1 and Kerberos

Is it possible to configure ArcGIS Server 10.1 in such a way that it uses Kerberos to authenticate to back-end databases? We are using the Web Adaptor with IIS7 on a separate server with our AGS using Domain Users/Groups and web tier security.  We have Web Services which get their data from a view in one of our SQL Server databases.  We would like the user to connect to the web service, and have their credentials ???flow??? through to that back-end database.

In ArcGIS 10.0, the server ran inside IIS, and so IIS???s normal settings could be used to enable Kerberos authentication (by setting impersonate=true).  That would cause user credentials to flow through to back-end databases.  Now that ArcGIS server runs outside IIS, we are not sure how to achieve the same effect.

Hey Shane,
No luck with pass through security sorry. Ended up with AGS using our Active Directory to determine who it was then we had AGS running under a domain user that had the required permissions on the SQL server.

Did you get a resolution to this? I've looking for the same functionality (AGS passing the users creds to the backend SQL Server).
