Labeling: Weights not enabled

Question

Hi Pro Users,

In Pro, I imported an arcscene document with several multipatch layers. As you all know labeling in ArcScene is horrible so I'm looking to leverage labeling in Pro. However, using the maplex labeling engine, that many options aren't available for labels, namely weights.

Anyone else having a similar issue? I have a couple point layers and a couple multipatch layers. The weighting doesn't want to work on any of the layers which leads me to believe it's a Pro issue?!? I don't see any mention of this in the Pro help on esri.com.

Hey Aaron, labeling is not supported for 3D layers in ArcGIS Pro, that's why you're seeing this grayed out.

Hey Aaron,

Regarding weights, Pro should have the same functionality as ArcMap 10.3. The weights dialog can be accessed through the labeling ribbon, map section, more drop down. Is this not what you're seeing?
