GeoRAS 10.1 - Kan RAS-gegevens niet importeren

Ik gebruik ArcMap 10.1 en HEC-GeoRAS 10.1.<\/SPAN>

Ik ondervind problemen bij het gebruik van GeoRAS om HECRAS waterstanden terug te importeren in ArcMAP om kaarten te maken van overstroomde gebieden. Wanneer ik de procedure in de GeoRAS-tutorial volg, mislukt de stap "Import RAS Data" en krijg ik deze foutmelding:<\/SPAN>

Ik heb enkele eerdere berichten over dit (en vergelijkbare) onderwerpen gezien, maar geen die echt een oplossing biedt. Tegelijkertijd ken ik verschillende collega’s die dit probleem hebben ervaren en het niet hebben kunnen oplossen. In plaats daarvan hebben ze het opgegeven en oudere versies van ArcMap en GeoRAS opnieuw geïnstalleerd.<\/SPAN>

Is er echt een fout in GeoRAS 10.1 waardoor de importfunctie niet werkt in versie 10.1? Ik geloof dat dit niet zo is, maar ik zou het zeer op prijs stellen als iemand mij kan adviseren hoe ik dit probleem kan overwinnen.<\/SPAN>

Ik heb geprobeerd zowel TINs als DEMs als terreinbestanden te gebruiken. De fout doet zich ook voor bij het gebruik van de Baxter voorbeelddataset van de HEC-GeoRAS downloadsite.<\/SPAN>

Does the geodatabase have a raster dataset within it?
This can trip it.
Another option could be to try it with the HEC supplied dataset, and compare your dataset.

Hey all!

I have exactly the same problem! I am always getting this error message when I am working with GeoRAS to import HECRAS water levels back into ArcMAP to create maps for inundated areas. I have tried everything - I checked if in my computer settings there is set a separator "." insteda of ",", I have tried to use another coordinate system but I am always getting this error message. I am using ArcMap 10.1, HEC-RAS 4.1.0.

Any advice, please?

So here is the solution!

after you get the SDF file from HEC-RAS use the xml converter in HEC-GeoRAS and produce the xml file. Then open the xml file in the text editor and on the line with spatial extent delete all the numbers behind the decimal point including the decimal point. Save the changes and follow the next steps in importing the inundation layer. It works.

I had an import error as well from GeoRAS to RAs using 10.1, but somehow even with errors... it imported the XS data, but not my bridges, inlinestructures or storages areas...

had no bridge and inlinestructure data because of this... I have successfully used a menu item for cross sections to populate elevations using a DEM in ArcGrid format.

When I try to use this similar process for a bridge and inlinestructure layer, I get this error... -2147220990, The index passed was not within the valid range.

Thus I cannot finish my task. This process is suppose to create a new feature class and populate an attribute table, but this does not happen.

I noticed data in the .sdf file for stoarage areas, but RAS will not import.

how do you recctify the hecgeoras errors when doing importation into arcmap when it returns E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component anyone who knows it kindly help me out
