I have added a number of Connections in ArcGIS Pro (Insert=>Connections=>Add WMS but now I want to remove some from the project.
I can't seem to find where to do this as I don't get a delete option when right clicking.
Any suggestions?
Hello Adrian, yes the latest version puts the connections into their own project folder in ArcGIS Pro and it has a remove option.
The interesting thing I did notice is that the connection is removed from the list in ArcGIS Pro but it is still in the project folder when viewed in Windows explorer.
Dean, have you updated to the latest version of ArcGIS Pro? I am wondering if this issue ever got fully resolved.
Hello Adrian, yes that did work by deleting it from the folder outside of ArcGIS Pro. Maybe someone from Esri could add that to the wish list of being able to delete from the user interface.
Thanks Dan, but it is under the folders not under databases.
Thanks Adrian, I will give it a go. It seems a bit clunky and am surprised there is not a 'Remove' option.
You need the catalog pane... it is either delete and/or remove depending on what you have active. Unless you are talking about something completely different
Dean,
Do they not get stored in your project folder in Windows Explorer?
You know, you have your gdb file, your index folder, your aprx file, your tbx file, then whatever connection files you have created for that project. Likely you can delete them there.
