I have installed the program and am trying to work through my first exercises in ArcMap but when I try to "Browse for more" in the Document dialogue box, I cannot find my ex03a.mxd files. Can someone give me advice on what to do?
hmmmm a simple way is to fire up File Explorer in your operating system and search the C: drive for ex03a.mxd
If/when you find it, you will know which folder to browse to.
If you don't find it, it might not be installed
Thanks, I'll try that. Not only am I learning the ArcGIS program, but am transitioning from my beloved macbook to windows.. that alone is almost enough to make me quit school, lol.. thanks again.
