ArcGIS import workspace document error, cannot create a table with duplicate column

Question

Hi All,

I have a XML workspace document of a geodatabase version 9.2. When i import it into new File geodatabase version 10.2 it gives me this error

Cannot create a table with duplicate column. Your help is appreciated

This could be the case of client and database incompatibility.  It would be worth a try to import this XML into 9.3  file geodatabase first. If it imports successfully then create a new XML from 9.3 geodatabase and then import that into 10.2 file geodatabase. ( you can also copy-paste the data from 9.3 geodatabase to 10.2 geodatabase)

You can create 9.3 file geodatabase using Create Filegeodatabase tool:
