Enable Sync (disconnected editing with synchronization) Can't Uncheck

Question

I have several feature services that I have published to my organization.  When I go to edit their properties, Enable Sync (disconnected editing with synchronization) is checked on, but grayed out so I can't uncheck it.

Is this some sort of known bug?  How do I uncheck it?

Why can't Sync be disabled from a Feature Service, once its been enabled.

I am an admin of an AGO Organization and I also can't uncheck. On most other datasets i can do this but on one specific dataset i cannot.

I'm having the same issue.  It appears to be a permissions thing -- looks like only Administrators have control of that function?
