And of equal importance, is your tiff file using a world file (.tfw) currently and is it georeferenced?

Was just trying to convert a .TIF with a .TFW file to GeoTIFF. I achieved this in ArcGIS Pro using the Copy Raster tool, and selecting the 'Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF' output format.
