a single web service out of many not available when using the web adaptor

If I use the url http://gisserver/arcgis/rest/services/Asset/Bin/MapServer, it returns correct information for this particular service as well as the 30 other services running BUT if I go through the web adaptor http://webadaptor/arcgis/rest/services/Asset/Bin/MapServer, I have a 404 error for just the one service while the other 29 are just fine.
