My issues are:
it took 4min to remove a dynamic text rectangle from layout view
It took 2.3 min when I zoomed to full extent
I cannot import dynamic text.
Can someone indicate to me why these issues are happening.

I would hope my computer has the min requirements. I work in a government department and I am using a new ZBook:
Is it slow for all projects? or just this one?
Do you have many maps/layouts in the project?
Lots of text labels etc?
Basemap?
Try to narrow down the issue. Reports of slowness usually have a cause

This is my only project atm.
I have 1 map and 1 layout.
I have 15 elements in total, which include:
Text/labels (no more than usual for a map)
Lines
Polygons
These are used for layout.
I have 2 base maps:
Standard world hillshade
Local wmts
There are 12 datasets in the map, so it isn't a data-heavy map.
try removing the basemaps
try making a new project
