Open Scene from ArcGIS Rest Service Directory

Question

Hi all,

I am trying to open a scene (or figure out how it works) after a query from the ArcGIS REST Services Directory for a 3D mulitpatch feature stored on ArcGIS Online. Is that possible? My end game here is ultimately being able to query for a feautre in an asset management software and have the feature in ArcScene display.

Hey Zachary Jaffe‌,

I think you would be able to accomplish this using the ArcGIS API for Python or the ArcGIS API for Javascript:

* Add layers to a 3D scene | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.15 
* Working with web maps and web scenes | ArcGIS for Developers
