Does ArcGIS Pro Desktop support Interop?

Does ArcGIS Pro Desktop support .NET interop? I couldn`t find any resources about that.

By interop I mean controlling the original ArcGIS Pro Desktop application from external .NET application. For an example all Microsoft Office application have this feature. NuGet Gallery | Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel 15.0.4795.1000

I think supports. We are using in our ArcGIS Pro addins interop for c++ library
