Story Map Swipe and Spyglass not honoring extent

Question

I'm trying to set my initial extent in Story Map Swipe and Spyglass so I can embed it in another story map. However, every time I set the extent and then reopen the story map it reverts back to the original extent.

BEGIN

SET NEW EXTENT and APPLY TO MAP

APPLIES TO MAP

SAVED AND REFRESH AND RETURNS TO ORIGINAL EXTENT

This problem still persists.

I am having the same issue. The Swipe Map does not honour the extent set on the web map.

Unfortunately no, I haven't heard or seen anything. I also haven't used the swipe app in quite in sometime either.
