Custom Print Layout for AGOL

Question

I would like to create a custom print layout for my AGOL maps. It looks like I can create a service for a template and use that, but my organization does not have ArcGIS for Server. Anyone have experience customizing the print layout without ArcGIS for Server?

Hello,

Currently, in order to have a create a custom printing template, you require ArcGIS for Server.

I'm also looking for a way to create a custom printing template for use with WAB or through an AGOL app template not using ArcGIS Server, has this become available?
