Change legend labels on HeatmapRenderer

Looking at this sample - https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/visualization-heatmap/index.html - I'm trying to figure-out the best way to change the labels "High" and "Low" to something else. There are some ways I can do this in CSS/jQuery, but I feel like there must be a way in the API natively, maybe using AuthoringInfo?

Any ideas?
