Can I or how do I check in differential corrected data?

Question

I'm a new user to ArcPad / GPS unit, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I checked data out from a Database to .axf, did some customization, and loaded it onto a Trimble unit with ArcPad for data collection, so far so good.

When I tried to run post processing using Pathfinder 4.0, the only files I could correct are .ssf files. I have no idea which .ssf is associated with the data I collected, since the file names are not the same. However, the major issue is, seems to me, the association between the .ssf and .axf no longer exsits after they are downloaded to the desktop right? Then even if I run the correction on the .ssf, it won't correct the data in .axf.

Is there way to update the .axf to reflect the correction? Someone told me there is some expensive extension can do that. Is there any other way?

The only way to differentially correct data checked in from an AXF file is by using Trimble's GPS Analyst Extension for ArcGIS.

or......ShapeCorrect inside Pathfinder Office will correct an AXF.
