Automatic popup creation in ArcGIS online from published map services

Is there a way for popups to automatically be created in ArcGIS online for map image layers?  We are publishing vector data from ArcGIS Server and then adding the REST end point to ArcGIS online as a map image layer and adding to maps and apps.  We would like popups to automatically be created and enabled for all layers in an ArcGIS online map.  Is this possible?

Hi Brett,

In order to have pop ups configured, I'd suggest using ArcGIS Pro for your desktop authoring experience. From ArcGIS Pro, you can author and publish items that include pop ups. IF you want to create pop ups after publishing to ArcGIS Server, Publish your service, register it with ArcGIS Online and then use the visualization tab to create a pop up that can be accessed by all web maps that add the item via search for layers instead of copy and pasting the url.
