Here is a strange one for you Pro developers. I recently set up an Accelerator of Shift+W to open the width part of drawing a rectangle. Now I cannot add a capital W to my attributes using Shift+W.
I think we've got that as [BUG-000116677: Accelerators are overriding text input boxes.]
Looks like some work needs to be done around which keys are (dis)allowed for accelerators, so that things are seamless across any view you're working in. This may not be a single, quick fix, but is something that the dev teams are working on.
