Roads and Highways

Question

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a work around for Roads and Highways. I have been trying to look for a way to Extend our existing roads out in our Map. So far everything has led me back to this add on of Roads and Highways. Any information would be very appreciated.

Hi Preston,

Are you trying to extend road in a web application? I am not sure my suggestions here will be helpful to you but just giving a shot

1) Use drawing tools to draw the line from the end point of the road.

2) Take geometry when you finished the line.

3) Update geometry of the road using webservice

4) You may also use this example to edit vertices of the road Move and edit vertices | ArcGIS API for JavaScript

Hi Preston, can you be a bit more specific about what you want to do? When you say extend the roads, what exactly do you mean?
