I'm in ArcGIS Pro 3.6.3
I'm using the Locate Depressions to find kettles and depressions countywide. I keep getting caught up on "Maximum Distance to Connection." Looking at the documentation, it says that it's optional and "This parameter will only be applied if a value is specified for it." There is no way to NOT specify a parameter. It always has the default. If I click in the field and delete the number, it comes back as soon as I click or tab out of the field. I have a minimum area defined. It seems that if I set the distance too short, I "lose" the larger depressions, but if I set it to long, I end up with features that are definitely not depressions.
I tested out some scenarios on a small area, but when I tried to apply the parameters to a larger area, they do not work.
Am I missing something? Is there some sort of guidance for "distance to connector?"
