De ArcGIS Reality-suite biedt een complete set tools om aan deze behoeften te voldoen.
Wat is Reality Mapping
Reality mapping is het proces van het vastleggen van beelden en sensorgegevens van drones, bemande vliegtuigen en satellieten, en deze omzetten in nauwkeurige digitale representaties van de echte wereld.
Wat is ArcGIS Reality Suite?
ArcGIS Reality Suite is een verzameling photogrammetry-softwareproducten die ontworpen zijn om workflows voor realiteitsvastlegging te ondersteunen met behulp van drone-, lucht- en satellietbeelden. De suite stelt gebruikers in staat beelden te verwerken tot GIS-klaar output zoals echte orthomosaics, DSM, DTM, point clouds en getextureerde 3D-meshes, inclusief fotorealistische 3D met Gaussian splats — producten die uitstekend zijn voor visualisatie, analyse en besluitvorming.
Voor het onderwijs biedt ArcGIS Reality Suite de mogelijkheid om geavanceerde ruimtelijke workflows te integreren in onderwijs- en leeromgevingen zonder photogrammetry los te koppelen van GIS.

Licentie-updates en opname in het onderwijsprogramma
Esri zal beginnen met het toevoegen van ArcGIS Reality suite-licenties aan het Education-licentieprogramma, met uitzondering van Site Scan for ArcGIS, omdat dit een SaaS-product is.
Wijzigingen in licenties
De release van ArcGIS Drone2Map 2026.1 introduceert een nieuwe add-on licentie, ter vervanging van de oude licentiestructuur (Standard en Advanced), wat het aanbod vereenvoudigt. Deze nieuwe add-on licentie heet Reality Mapping en geeft toegang tot zowel ArcGIS Drone2Map (volledige mogelijkheden) als ArcGIS Pro Reality Mapping.

- Data processing and output hosting are handled in the cloud.
- Access and collaborative work can be done from any location.
- You don’t have to wait for completion before starting other tasks.
