KML to Layer w/ Attachments

I'm sure this question has been asked before but I can't find the answer. I have a KML with image attachments that I need to convert to a layer and then an FGDB and preserve said attachments. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

Did you ever find a solution to this. I need this too. I've found a workaround for now but would be good if this was possible.
